“God has not given us the spirit of fear”
II Timothy 1:7

"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba Father", Romans 8:15.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. He who fears has not been made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

The spirit of fear is satanic. It is one of Satan's most effective tools. Satan is now attempting to turn it into a paralyzing weapon. Due to his defeat at the hand of Jesus
(Matthew 28:18; Luke 11:21-22; Colossians 2:13-15), Satan was left without armor and powerless. However, if he can find someone he can possess with sufficient personal power, influence, wealth and ability, he will work his wiles through them.
Presently, he is working the wile of fear through Osama bin Ladin, Saddam Hussein and the leaders of terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and Al Aska Brigade. Satan, through these men and organizations, is paralyzing our nation, and the world with fear. He is also successfully creating opposition to our president and nation in its war against terrorism.

Satan is also the source of hatred. Hatred has long been harbored against our nation by other nations. Satan is cunningly fostering hatred with his use of fear.

France, who should be eternally grateful to us, and Germany, whom we rebuilt after World War II, have taken an opposing position on the war on terrorism. Russia, whom we helped defend against Germany, and assisted in many ways to become a stabilized nation after the Cold War, has joined with France and Germany. China, who sees itself as someday becoming the world's super power, will join any opposition against our nation. China's missile program was aided by the ungodly Clinton administration. Today these nations gripped by fear and hatred are attempting to block the war on terrorism.

Islamic terrorism, the doctrine of Mohammed and the Koran has become an instrument of Satan to spread fear and hatred.

Our nation bears the blunt of his attack for two reasons: one, we are a Christian nation in which well over the majority of our people are God-fearing men and women. Two, we are the foremost supporter of the nation of Israel, God's original chosen people. Islam and its doctrine have created fanatical religious terrorists. Since they have no power against Satan, he is using them to attempt to turn his tool of fear into a paralyzing weapon.

The American media and bleeding-heart Democrats and some weak Republicans are playing right into his hands. Satan has not been this happy since he watched Jesus being nailed to the cross.

However as surely as Jesus came off the cross and thoroughly defeated him, he has another awesome defeat staring him in the face. The approaching defeat of his tool of fear will come from Jesus, by the Holy Spirit and through the Church, the body of Christ. You are a member of that body. You must put on the whole armor of God. You must take up the mighty weapons of God. You must attack Satan and smash his tools of fear and hatred, because terrorism must be stopped.

For the prophesied peace of the Middle East to come into place for all the people of that region, terrorism must be knocked out. Examine Ezekiel 38:8,11 and 14 and discover Israel dwelling so securely that they will have no need to defend or protect themselves against any of their Arab neighbors.

This prophesied peace is not the Millennium peace, but peace that comes into place before the Church is caught away. The prophecies of peace for the nation of Israel and the Middle East can only come about if terrorism is defeated, and IT WILL BE!

You, as a child of God, must resist fear.

You must absolutely believe the Holy Scriptures.

You must not make a place of any kind for Satan and the use of his tool of fear.

Now read this word of God and make it yours. Listen to God's voice as it flows from His written word.

PSALM 91:1-16

1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6) Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7) A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Do you now truly accept God's word? If there is yet any question and you have some feeling of insecurity, you are not made perfect in love. Therefore, you remain somewhat fearful.

Please go back and read the opening scriptures of this article. God is not the source of the satanic spirit of fear. The spirit of fear will put you in bondage and restrict you. While restricted, he will torment you.

Rise up in the name of Jesus; renounce the spirit of fear and cast it out. Cast it out of yourself. Cast it out of your home. Cast it out of your environment. Do it now - don't put it off!

Pay attention to God's voice and His word. Believe and act on it with
unswerving faith and confidence. You have a God given right to go around declaring, "A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand; but it SHALL NOT come near me!"

Pray for your president, George W. Bush, his Cabinet, the Congress and our military. They are on a divine mission to bring down terrorism by whatever means necessary. According to God's word they will succeed and peace will take its prophesied place in the Middle East.

Pray for the Arab people. Believe for a true spiritual awakening among them. God is not through with them. Never forget Jesus went to the cross for all mankind. God's love is unconditional.
