Without a doubt, a major battle is beginning over the office of President of these United States. There is also another battle for the control of both Houses of Congress.

2004 may be one of the most crucial political years in our history.

Never before has Christianity been as opposed and threatened in our country as right now. From every direction one now hears of opposition to Jesus, the Bible, the Ten Commandments, Christian morals and prayer. Even public Christmas trees were opposed this past Christmas.

How did our nation, that began as a God-fearing, Christ-honoring, and Bible-directed nation, fall to this low immoral and ungodly present day condition? Well, It did not happen overnight. Actually, it has taken fifty (50) years.

The decade of the fifties saw the beginning of a satanic attack on our nation different from any previous ones. Satan tried to prevent this nation from ever coming into existence and failed. He failed because God-fearing Americans followed George Washington, a praying Believer.

Then Satan tried to divide this nation over the issue of slavery. Again he failed due to a leader like Abraham Lincoln and the prayers of many on both sides of the Civil War.

Next Satan attempts the economic destruction of our nation, through the Great Depression. Once more he suffers failure. Prayer and the sincere faithful to Jesus proved his undoing.

Does Satan give up easily? He seems to be a glutton for punishment. World War II saw him using a different military attack against our nation. A ferocious military attack almost brought our nation to its knees. However, once more Satan’s attempt to destroy this Christian nation failed! Satan apparently under estimated the power of prayer and the strength of Christians. Americans sang “Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition” and “Coming In on a Wing and a Prayer” and The Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Irving Berlin, a Jewish composer, wrote “God Bless America.”

Christianity, prayer and the fear of God kept these United States free.

We had become a home away from home for the Children of Israel; the arm of evangelism to the world and the world’s peacemaker. All these roles are biblical ones.

However, although defeated, Satan has used a new tactic; slowly beginning to divide the Christians into different POLITICAL CAMPS.

By the fifties the Democratic Party had an image of being the People’s Party. Although not always occupying the White House, it controlled Congress. Without question the Democratic Party was the stronger of the two. It also had the largest representation of Christians. Satan set his sights for control of the Democratic Party. His inroads began to cause the more conservative Christians to change parties. Satan knew that if he could divide the Christians he could begin the process of separation of Church and State. WHAT HE REALLY WANTS IS, SEPARATION OF GOD AND STATE!

By the way, there is no support for separation of church and state in our Constitution. However, it is an article within the Constitution of the former Soviet Union. The philosophy of Separation of Church and State is a BIG LIE! No Christian supports a lie.

Through satanic influence Satan began to gain political support for murder (abortion) and homosexuality (an abomination). His influence is greater among the Democrats than among Republicans. Notice, if you will, most of the leaders for abortion, homosexuality, Separation of Church and State and against the Ten Commandments are democratic by choice.

You must also be aware that the majority of those opposing Christianity are Democrats by choice.

Satan has divided Christians politically. He knows the Christian vote, if unified, would politically defeat all his efforts to finally gain control of this nation.

The united Christian vote would absolutely be the largest block of voters in our nation. However, we are not because of divisive politics. Far too many Christians believe politicians rather than the Bible. Political voices are allowed to drown out the VOICE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Christians are deceived into voting their pocketbooks, welfare or Social Security. Generally their vote is gained through the use of FEAR. How many Christian seniors vote for satanic programs just to hopefully protect their Social Security.

CHRISTIANS, GOD is your source and provider; not a politician or the Government.

As long as I tithe and give offerings my economy is secure and stable; see Malachi 3:10. So is yours, provided you tithe and give offerings.

CHRISTIAN, you may not belong to either political party! YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN! You may favor a party, but you must always vote your righteousness – not your political beliefs.

If you vote and it does not reflect your righteous fear of God, you have denied your faith!

Vote you must! Your right to vote is a God-given heritage. It is your way of influencing the direction of your country. Always vote and vote for the candidate that absolutely reveals his fear of God, love of Christ and belief in the eternal Word of God.

I am not concerned about political parties, but I am concerned that we begin to put God-fearing men and women in public offices.

Notice, God will always cause there to be a candidate whose relationship with Him is stronger than the other one.

Allow me to repeat myself, CHRISTIANS MUST VOTE THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS and not their politics.

John F. Kennedy, in his inaugural address made this statement, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Christians founded our nation and now it is time for Christians to help restore our godly heritage.

In the coming presidential and congressional elections, you can help your country by voting and making sure your choice reflects your Christ-likeness and fear of God.

Do nothing to aid Satan in his diabolical attempt to destroy our nation as a stronghold of godliness and Christianity.

Prayer is a powerful weapon. Pray for the 2004 elections and sincerely ask God to have His way.
