Leaders Out of Step with the American People

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Isa 5:20 NKJV

Never in my more than 80 years have I witnessed mankind so deceived. Constantly good is being called evil and evil good. Spiritual warfare continues, almost unopposed. It is evident that both our political parties are under ATTACK. “God is not the author of confusion” 1 Cor. 14:33.

The lack of opposition to this satanic attack lies on the doorstep of the church. Let me remind you that, in Colossians 1:18, the apostle Paul wrote, “And He [Jesus] is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning the first born from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” As Christ’s followers, we are His body.
Hebrews 2:14 states, “In as much then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He HIMSELF shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil.”

1 John 3:8 declares, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Before going further, I remind you that Jesus thoroughly defeated Satan and left him powerless and armorless. Satan is our foe, but an absolutely defeated one!!!!!

Satan, the devil, that old serpent can no longer do anything of himself. He must find a person or persons he can possess and accomplish his evil works through. The satanic side of spiritual warfare is carried out by the people he controls.
SATAN MUST BE OPPOSED!
Only the anointed body of Christ can oppose him and win. We must, by the Holy Spirit and Word of God, capture the minds of people and point them to Jesus.

Read carefully the following scriptures: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (the anointed one), and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”
(2 Corinthians 10:3-6).

This powerful statement by Paul, clearly established the mind as the battlefield. The battle of spiritual warfare is won or lost in one’s mind. Notice, if you will, the importance of obedience! A Christian who is indeed a true follower of Jesus is also led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads by the Word of God. He reveals truth which also uncovers lies.

You and I must learn obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God or we will not offer any opposition to Satan or the war going on all around us. Look once again at the beginning of this article. Satanic opposition is almost unopposed and due to the fact that only a handful of true Christians have committed to the battle.

Spiritual warfare has erupted like a volcano and the fight has seriously begun for the absolute control of the United States of America!

What is the real target of Satan? You and your Christianity! He is attempting to destroy the Christian image and heritage of our once Christian nation. Our nation is and has been a major hindrance to Satan’s evil plan.

Through godless leaders he now influences political parties, the media and most of our public schools. The cause of evil has advanced in the past 50 years, while the church has grown fat and materialistically, and has been lulled to sleep. Tragically, a good majority of our ministers and people have neither discernment as to Satan’s activities, nor their need of being spiritually alert and living full of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 13:11-14 is a WAKE UP CALL. “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awaken out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”

We know this verse to be a present day WORD FROM GOD. End time prophecies are being fulfilled everywhere and we are in the season of the glorious appearing of Jesus. If we are asleep, we are foolish virgins. (See Matt. 25:1-13)

The scripture continues, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand, therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the LORD Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts” (Romans 13:12-14).

1 Cor. 14:33 declares God is not the author of confusion in the church. Yet there is an abundance of confusion within the Christian family. So much that during the political seasons many Christians stop being Christians. They vote their traditions, their pocket book, welfare or the color of their skin with no regard for the will of God or what their vote may bring on their nation. - CONFUSION – CONFUSION - And it’s all Satan’s work.

Confusion now runs so strong across our land that good is being called evil and evil good. Isaiah the prophet writes, “Woe to those who call evil good; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight.” (Isaiah 5:20-21). Isaiah continues, “Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff. So their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom will ascend like dust; because they have rejected the law of the LORD of Hosts, and despised the Word of the Holy one of Israel” (Isaiah 5:24).

A spokesman for the Democratic Party recently spoke on television and declared the Republican Party out of step with the American people.

Evidently he thinks the majority of Americans embrace abortion (murder on demand), same sex marriage, sodomy, pornography, retreat and defeat in the Middle East; no prayer in schools; no use of the name of Jesus and the end of Christianity in our nation.

Since this spokesman believes the majority of our population accepts and embraces the above then he has to believe all of the above to be good and acceptable. He and his words are an example of calling evil good. The real danger of this mindset is not that a political party is out of step with the American people, it is that anyone who embraces these philosophies of evil is OUT OF STEP WITH GOD. This is no place for Christians to hang their hats. Christians who are influenced by these “views” are opposing Jesus and are guilty by association.

As a senior minister of our LORD and a student of the Word, I call on you to put on the WHOLE armor of God, take up God’s weapons and report for duty. Spiritual warfare is raging. You are needed on the front line.

Ministers must lead the way in an attack upon the very gates of Hell. It is time to reactivate the BIBLE message of
“Hell, Fire and Brimstone.” America has lost its fear of God. In fact, many Christians have also lost their fear of God. Stay tuned more to come!
