January 2006
Dear Friend,
The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever! Are we not delighted with this truth? His wonders never
cease and His provisions are more than enough.
In the 103rd Psalm David writes, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that
is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord O my soul, and forget
not all His benefits.”
There is no better way to begin this year of 2006. Daily blessing the Lord
with all one’s heart and soul and giving sincere thought concerning His
benefi ts, should become a ritual.
The Holy Spirit tells me, this should be our theme for the New Year. Daily,
not just once and awhile, but daily having fellowship and communion with
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I’m encouraging you to make up your
mind to do this throughout the year.
Please do not say, “I’ll try.” Make a firm decision, put yourself on the spot. Declare, “Beginning today, I will
bless the Lord and I will remember His benefi ts.”
Serving our Lord and Blessing Father, Son and Holy Spirit has awesome benefi ts and they are eternal. Selah!
Notice the list of benefi ts: He forgives all your inequities, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from destruction,
crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, satisfi es you mouth with good things, renews
your youth like the eagles. Wow! And all He asks is that you and I have daily fellowship with Him and thereby
enjoy His abundant benefits.
God wants 2006 to be an amazing year of blessing, supply, health, victory, and triumph over every satanic opposition
and success in all you set your hands to do.
Here’s a prophecy for you and me from Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God,
to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the
LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these
blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the
LORD your God:
“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the
increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
“The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your
face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
“The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which
you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving
you.
“The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to
you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.
Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD,
and they shall be afraid of you. And the LORD will grant you plenty of goods, in the
fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground,
in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open
to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to
bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only,
and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God...
In closing this year’s letter I make you a promise; if you so chose to bless and serve the Lord daily for this
year of 2006, and DO SO; you will become an awesome threat to the Devil.
You will cast him out; give him no place and he will constantly be on the run. You will be strong in the Lord
and in the power His might, wearing God’s armor and using His weapons.
You will be like David who said, “For by you I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall.” II
Samuel 22:30
I personally pray for and expect you to begin to have the most outstanding year of your life in Christ.
God Loves You,
