January 2007

Dear Friend,
I greet you in the name of Jesus and pray you and yours have a
‘Taste of Heaven’ in 2007.

Our heavenly Father has much in store for you this year; but you have to tap into it! We are all creatures of habit and there is nothing we can do about it. In life one will develop fixed patterns of activity. Life’s patterns always fall into two categories, good or bad. To enjoy Heaven’s best in 2007 analyze your character and personal habits. Some may need to be improved and others changed from bad to good. If all seems to be well, look for areas of excellence. I’m sure you will find room for improvement.

Remember Paul testified, “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” Phil 3:12

He continues, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:13-14

Paul’s next statement is one of excellent Godly advice. “Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if anything you think otherwise, God will reveal it to you,” Phil. 3:15. Paul, by the Holy Spirit, is writing to Christians.

Here’s a biblical picture of a mature Christian: Holy, pure, full of the Holy Spirit, a person of prayer, a student of the Holy Scriptures and walking in a powerful anointing. They lay hands on the sick and the sick are healed. They cast out devils in the name of Jesus and have divine protection from anything designed to harm
them. A mature Christian desires and is led by the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Because they are baptized in the Holy Spirit they communicate with the heavenly Father in Heavenly languages. There is no place for Satan in their lives and he can not abide in their presence.

Since one is full of faith, given to obedience and consistently about good works, their life is fulfilled, content, abundantly happy, victorious and triumphant. In fact, a mature Christian is a living image of our Lord Jesus.

Every facet of the description of a mature Christian is supported by chapter and verse of the Holy Scriptures. Please, by no means attempt to explain away any of the above Biblical description or justify a lessor spiritual person. To do so would be the immediate admission of spiritual immaturity.

However, after reading this message and discovering that like the Apostle Paul you have not as yet reached full maturity, imitate Him. Begin to press into the presence of Jesus and the Father. The Holy Spirit will help you begin to attain all the qualities of spiritual maturity.

Notice Paul’s use of the word “press.” It is a weight lifting term. One has not mastered a particular weight until he lifts is up, that’s a PRESS! To press a heavy weight requires training, discipline and determination. It may seem difficult but it can be accomplished.

You and I must “press” toward becoming everything God wants us to be and that is a fully mature Christian. Christ like in every area of our being and life.

The Glorious Church, about which Paul writes in Ephesians 5:27 is made up of mature men and women of God. I am confident Paul reached his goal. Here’s why I believe Paul attained all for which he had been apprehended. He writes in II Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.
Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

We too can have the mind of Christ, the determination of Paul and with the every day help of the Holy Spirit become mature Christians. Mature Christians look for the glorious appearing of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 2007 is the year for a “Taste of Heaven,” a greater supernatural experience and anointing than ever. The Holy Spirit is ready and waiting for you to choose to step up to a higher level of Spiritual life and maturity.

For your love gift, for souls, of $25.00 or more, I will send you one of the most dynamic messages I have ever preached. It is entitled, “The End Time Church.” I preached this sermon on the evening of December 6, 2006. It’s new! It’s powerful! It’s dynamic! It’s your future! It’s totally bible- no speculation! It is a message from God for you. It came by the Holy Ghost. I was simply the person chosen to deliver to those who truly want to know about their future as a child of God.

The message is dramatic, exciting and gloriously triumphant. Do not wait a second to get your request in this message now! I promise you will be blessed. Those receiving this letter on fixed incomes, send the best offering you can and ask for the message.

Love you.
