Dear Partner and Fellow Team Mate,
I greet you in the miraculous name of Jesus, from the city of
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. JoAnn and I are here ministering at
Word of Faith Christian Center, pastored by Keith Echols. This
church is part of a network of strong churches under the covering
of Bishop Keith Butler of Word of Faith, Detroit, Michigan. We
are witnessing an awesome anointing.
Prior to arriving in Philadelphia, we were with His Word Ministries
in Wanaque, New Jersey. Pastor Scott Brown leads a young and exciting
congregation with a bright future. Three services a day – well-attended – opened
opportunities for salvation, restoration and wonderful introduction
to important biblical truth.
REMEMBER, Jesus said, “You shall KNOW the TRUTH and the
TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE,” John
8:32.
I am impressed by the dedication and anointing upon these two
Pastors. Neither one yet pastors large congregations, but their
future is very exciting and unlimited as their congregations are
anointed to “GET THE JOB DONE.”
I am privileged to work with pastors across our nation, who are
following the Holy Spirit’s leadership and know the source
of their anointing. The future for the Church, the Body of Christ,
is glorious. If you have trouble agreeing with me, then go to the
Word of God.
Jesus states in Matthew
16:18 that He will build His Church and
it will be so powerfully anointed the gates of Hell will not prevail
or have authority against it.
Paul states in Ephesians
4:11-16, that the ministry of Jesus,
carried on by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers,
will bring the Church to such maturity it will become a living
image of Jesus.
Paul further reveals that the Church becomes GLORIOUS prior to
being caught away, Ephesians
5:27.
Here’s a scripture the Holy Spirit gave me early this morning
for all of us: “But Jesus said, no one having put his hand
to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God,” Luke
9:12.
Jesus exhorts us to STAY THE COURSE! Allow me to lovingly plead
with all who read this letter, remain firmly planted in our Lord’s
kingdom. Do not fall prey to the lust of the flesh, pride of life
and lust of the eye.
The beloved Apostle John has written, “Do not
love the world or the things in the world. If ANYONE loves the
world, the love
of the Father is not in him (her),”
1
John 2:15. I encourage
you to read carefully verses 16 and 17. The message is direct
and plainly simple. One cannot be caught up in the world’s
way of life and be ready for the kingdom of God.
STAY THE COURSE!
Do not compromise either the Word of God or your life as a follower
of Jesus. Compromise is an uncertain road plagued with trouble
and destruction.
Because you are receiving this ministry letter, I believe you
intend to “be fit” for the kingdom of God. Our Heavenly
Father loves us so very much that He has provided all things necessary
for life and godliness in this present world,
2
Peter 1:1-4. He
has made the way for us all to be partakers of His divine
nature and thereby not ruled by our flesh and its desires. WE CAN
STAY
THE COURSE. We can become faithful, loyal and consistent
followers of our Lord Jesus.
Zechariah
4:6, “NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT,
says the Lord of Hosts!”
The key to our personal success, family blessings, church growth
and development, is God the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit must be
given preeminence in all we do, all the time. It is HE who enables
us to “STAY THE COURSE.”
Get as close to the Lord as you know how and stay there. Allow
no grounds for becoming LUKEWARM, a part-time Christian or backsliding.
The Holy Spirit is our GOD-SENT HELPER and He does help us, when
we allow Him. Be cautious of self-help messages that too often
avoid any reference to the Holy Spirit.
Pray often, study the Word, attend church, give hilariously and
WIN the lost.
