Dear Friend,

I greet you and yours in the majestic name of Jesus.

July is our most “patriotic” month. Every American, whether saint or sinner, should thank God for our independence. Because the majority of the colonists were God-fearing and Christ-honoring people, we have become the world’s superpower.

What is it that has made our nation to be the most envied, desired, copied, advanced and hated?

It certainly has not been godless Liberalism or outright atheism. It hasn’t been immoral Hollywood or television, nor our robust industry or our educational system; but God-fearing, Bible-believing men and women.

Our ancestors braved the unknown, leaving the Old World, to find a place where they could worship in Spirit and truth. The Holy Bible was their textbook and the church house the most important edifice. They prayed, worshiped, studied their Bibles and lived wholesome Christian lives and won others to the Lord Jesus.

God heard their prayers and answered them. Because of the godly Christian population, God brought our nation through several very difficult and threatening times.

Because of prayer and God’s help, our nation and its Colonial Army defeated the world’s superpower, Great Britain. Less than 100 years later we survived the Civil War. Again less than 100 years later, we survived the Great Depression.

All these extreme difficulties were attempts by God’s archrival, Satan, to prevent a God-fearing nation from existing. Why would Satan so oppose the existence of the United States? Here are the reasons Satan is working overtime to hinder or stop the progress of our nation.

First, we are and have been the “home away from home” of the Jewish people and are now the number one “Sponsor of the new nation of Israel”. Because of this fact, we are under the umbrella of Genesis 12:3, the most blessed nation on this planet in spite of our internal wickedness, violence and corruption.

Second, in the early 1800’s we began to be the “Arm of Evangelism” to the world. Jesus introduced this assignment in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” Some other nation of people could have accepted this assignment, but did not. Today we are still GOD’S ARM OF EVANGELISM. No wonder Satan hates this nation.

Third, during Word War I, we became the “Peacemaker”. Jesus stated in Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called the children of God.” In spite of satanic opposition, we are the Peacemaker. What we are doing in Afghanistan and Iraq is providing freedom and peace to a people who are in desperate need.

So, as we celebrate our nation’s birthday, we should be proud and very thankful.

However, once again Satan is attempting to stop this nation from continuing to carry out these above Bible roles. This time his attack is coming through atheism, Liberalism, pornography, Hollywood, television networks, media lies and ungodly organizations such as the A.C.L.U.

Satan has had a measure of success in causing the God-fearing, Christ-honoring people of our nation to lose their vision and begin to desert their godly assignments. Satan is the author of confusion; the source of division and many Christians have fallen under his attack. He has used the media to spread his lies and gradually desensitize Christians to the evils around them.

Here is my prayer for and request of you. I pray that as a sincere follower of Jesus you will become bold and cast off every attempt by Satan to weaken our nation by neutralizing you. I pray you become a powerful prayer warrior and outright spokesperson for Jesus and Christianity. Last, but not least, WIN SOULS! You can be an ongoing part of a soul winning team by partnering with me, my staff and all our faithful partners. We are known as the Issachar Team.

Our nation is vital and important and I am not going to give the devil any quarter. TOGETHER, IN JESUS’ NAME, LET US CAST HIM OUT!
