BREAKING NEWS: THE MID-EAST TURMOIL
Dear Friend:
The name of Jesus is as powerful today as ever.
The prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel have prophesied an acceptable, real peace for Israel and the Middle East. Both of these Prophets have stated, “Israel Will Dwell Safely”. (See Jeremiah 23:6; 32:7 and Ezekiel 38:8,11,14.)
The chronological Biblical timetable places this Peace prior to the appearing of Jesus for the events of resurrection and catching away of the righteous, as prophesied by Himself, Paul and John in the Book of Revelation.
The prophets write concerning Israel’s “Dwelling Safely” without need of defense. Ezekiel 38:11, states “No need of walls, bars or gates.” This prophet foresaw the present wall that Israel is building 2600 years ago.
Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the nation has been under constant attack by fanatical Arab terrorist organizations. For this prophesied peace to come to the Middle East, Terrorism must be ELIMINATED. Since the terrorist organizations are determined to destroy Israel and only recognize force, it is becoming evident that by force they will be destroyed.
The present Mid-East turmoil is not the war described by Ezekiel 38:18-23;
39:1-10, but part of the process under way to destroy the terrorist network and eliminate their threat. Terrorist and their plans stand IN THE WAY of the fulfillment of God’s prophetic event of peace for the people of the Mid-East. Therefore the Terrorist will either come to their senses and be set free from the deception of their religion, or be utterly removed from further opposition to Middle East peace.
However, the international terrorist network is controlled by the satanic spirit of terrorism. One of their major goals is to paralyze the masses by fear; a tool of Satan. The vehicle that bonds them together is fanatical Islam, created by Mohammed during the 7th Century.
This present military action is not a prelude to the Battle of Armageddon as some have concluded. It is an action necessary to clear the way for the peace God wants the Arabs and Israel to Enjoy. The prophesied peace will come! Until then all Christians should obey the Biblical Instructions of Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; they shall prosper who love thee.”
In the truest sense, spiritual warfare is escalating. Although military action is taking place and lives are being lost. It is SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Keep in mind, the prophets have prophesied “Regional peace” before the great catching away and it must come to pass. The mid-east turmoil is further evidence that we are living in the season of the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus.
There are divine instructions for every follower in such a time as this.
Number One: We should value our salvation and live righteously, keeping ourselves ready for the rapture!
Number Two: We must become people of prayer! Jesus states in Luke 21:36, “Watch you therefore and pray always that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that must come to pass.”
Number Three: Since Jesus went to the cross for all mankind, we must be in prayer for the spiritual wakening of all Arabs. They are descendents of Abraham and according to Isaiah 19:23-25, they are here during the Millennium. My message entitled, “The Arab Connection” will be very enlightening.
Number Four: We should follow the instructions of the Holy Scripture and “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem,” Psalms 122:6. Such prayer should include the leadership of both sides, II Timothy 2:1-4. Prayer for the salvation of others; The Arab world, Peace in the Middle East and World Leaders is not the kind of prayer that one accomplishes in 2 or 3 minutes. Although such short prayers, when accompanied by faith, are effective; it is the feverent effectual prayer (intercession) that is the most productive. Holy Spirit anointed prayer is extremely powerful.
Number Five: Prayer is powerful. Christians ought to pray! Now read this carefully; every Christian should develop a personal prayer life if you do not have a strong prayer life, please accept this advice. Get on your knees, with your Bible and look up references on prayer and follow the instructions. Never pray without inviting the Holy Spirit to be present. It may be that the Holy Spirit will want to do the praying when you either do no know how to pray of for what to pray. He, through the languages he provides will pray through you. Above all, learn how to pray and develop your ability as a “Prayer Warrior.”
Number Six: Ask your Pastor to call for an All Church prayer meeting. He may have to instruct the membership as to the importance of prayer and how to pray prior to calling the prayer meeting. Prayer meetings of all day and occasionally all night are methods hardly known to the Body of Christ today, but they were powerful. I’ve heard it said,” I have faith so I don’t need old fashioned prayer.” I have new for that person, Jesus taught faith and prayer. Together they are much more powerful than either one by itself. For prayer to become the lesser part of a Christians life is a mistake and usually denotes self deception.
One more time: Prayer is powerful and Christians ought to pray!!
This month’s “Today in Prophecy” Message is of awesome importance. I have put it together around the prophecies of our Lord Jesus. His prophecy has pin-point accuracy and it is all about our day. You, your family, and church need this message. I also focus on the Middle East.
For your ministry contribution of $25.00 or more my staff will get this tape to you as quickly as possible because of its importance. Remember, if you can not send the above love gift, for the ministry, do the Best you can and request either the audio tape or CD.
You and yours are in our prayers and we love you. We are laborers together with our Lord Jesus. It is impossible for you to assist me with my divinely given assignment and not receive an equal reward.

HONDURAS UPDATE
In the month of June JoAnn and I spent a week in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Our host was Pastor Ernesto Benagus, his lovely wife and their congregation. I taught the exciting book of Revelation.
Although I relied on an interpreter, the anointing was wonderful on both she and I. The building was filled the first night and attendance grew until it was like “sardines in a can.” The auditorium seats comfortably about 750.
Service after service, the alters filled with men, women and teenagers. It was glorious!
The last evening I spoke in the neighboring town of Progresso. Our attendance was somewhere around 2500. The hunger for God and His word was awesomely wonderful. We will be returning to San Pedro Sula in the not to distant future. Pastor and Mrs. Jim Hall of Hutchinson, Minnesota accompanied us.
