Dear Friend,

Jesus said in Luke 21:36, “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” What an awesomely wonderful verse of scripture. Jesus literally declares we can be counted worthy to escape the future prophesied events and stand along side Him.

The word “escape” is the choice of our Lord. It is used several times in the Holy Scriptures. One will find it used in relationship to Lott and his family in Genesis 19. It is also in original Hebrew concerning Noah and his family although most of our translations do not use the actual word.

As used by Jesus, it simply means to go quickly or flee out of the place where one has been. He establishes the place to which one escapes to be with Him. Such a picture is clearly painted by the information in the 4th and 5th chapters of Revelation, as being before God’s throne in Heaven.

Jesus reveals two requirements of one who is considered “worthy of escape.” The first is “watch.” The word does not mean to just be awake, but to be intently watching for an event. The event He has in mind is the appearing; at which time the righteous are caught up to meet Him in the air. Jesus wants all to be spiritually awake and very much aware that His appearing is about to take place. Remember, in this same 21st chapter of Luke Jesus speaks of the “budding of the fig tree, Israel” and absolutely states, “Your redemption in near.”

Jesus clearly places the rebirth of Israel as the act that identifies the “season of His appearing.” Therefore you and I, of necessity must be spiritually alive, about our Master’s business and watching for His appearing.

Secondly, Jesus places great importance on prayer. Recall the disciples ask Jesus to teach them to pray. So He gave them a perfect outline in Luke 11. It has been called the Lord’s Prayer but it isn’t. It is a divinely given pattern for your prayers and mine. It begins with recognition and worship of our heavenly Father. Prayer is powerful! Read the book of Acts and make discoveries of the power of prayer. Sometimes prayer is work. Especially when one accepts the anointing of Intercession. Intercession isn’t done in 10 to 15 minutes. Hours are spent in prayer by those who enter into this special anointing. Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”

Every believer must develop their prayer life. A personal prayer life is an extremely valuable Christian characteristic. Without learning to pray and doing so numerous times every day; one is no match for Satan’s wiles. Nor would they be considered worthy to escape those things coming upon the earth.

Reason with me, we know we are living in the season of “His appearing.” Therefore the beginning of the Tribulation is also at the door.

Once we and the righteous, who have gone on before us, are caught away to Heaven; then the Antichrist can be revealed as taught by Paul in II Thessalonians 2:6-8. This act allows the 7 years of Tribulation to begin. You do not want to be left behind!

The criteria for the escape is clear, “Watch and Pray.” Of course those who are spiritually alert, full of the Holy Spirit, praying and winning souls will be changed and caught up in the “twinkling of an eye.” One moment on the earth and the next in Heaven at the throne of God. How exciting is the word picture of God, His throne, individuals, groups of righteous, angels and events as set forth by the 4th and 5th chapters of Revelation.

Do we have reason to watch? Yes, because End Time prophecies are daily being fulfilled. Do we have reason to pray? Yes, because we have an adversary, the devil, and prayer is a powerful weapon to use against him.

I believe you feel as I do. I am ready for every Christian to become a Bible person. I look forward to the believing community truly becoming the Body of Christ, accurately representing Him 24/7, 365.

Jesus is coming and we know it! Russia continues to stand by Iran’s nuclear plans and daily their prophetic relationship gets stronger. Ezekiel 38:5, 6 lists Russia’s allies at the time she plans a swift military takeover of Israel. Notice Persia (Iran) is number one. According to the 38th Chapter of Ezekiel, Russia can not attempt a takeover of Israel until after the righteous have been supernaturally resurrected and caught up with the living who are “watching and praying.”

You and yours remain in our prayers. I am in faith with you that not one of your family members will be lost. As long as you and I are practicing believers, the door stays open to every member of our family. The Holy Spirit will stay on their trail with conviction until they come in.
