Dear Friend:
“Hallelujah, what a thought, Jesus full salvation
brought, Victory,” are words to an old hymn simply entitled “VICTORY.”
I greet you and yours with THANKSGIVING for the victory that is
ours today through our Lord Jesus.
Once again the ‘Thanksgiving Season” is upon us. Thanksgiving
Day is the introduction to the Christmas Season. Wow, do we have
much for which to be THANKFUL!
Think with me; because of Jesus we’re saved and on our way
to Heaven. While on my way I’m blessed spiritually, physically
and financially. Jesus, our Provider, has not overlooked one facet
of mankind’s needs and He cares for His own; aren’t
you glad. You and I have more for which to be thankful than we
did prior to our accepting Jesus as our Savior.
As we daily learn how to let Jesus become Lord, we discover even
more for which to be thankful. It is of utmost importance that
you and I allow Jesus to sit on the throne of our lives. We should
place the reins of our life in His hands and leave them there.
He, if we permit Him, will always do a better job of directing
our lives than we ever could.
This would be a good place to stop reading this letter and say
aloud, “Thank you Jesus for saving me.” Did you do
it? If you DID, you feel good in your soul. If you didn’t,
try it, you’ll like it.
Sometimes Christians get so busy they just take for granted that
our Father and Jesus know they are thankful. However, we need to
express our thanksgiving. It falls into the same category as a
husband and wife expressing their love for each other. How extremely
important it is for children to hear Mom and Day say, “I
love you.”
I pray this will be a wonderful time of Thanksgiving for you and
all your family. As we enter this season of the year in which we
celebrate the birth of our Savior, I pray we do so with loving
thanksgiving and not in a worldly commercial manner.
Thus far, I am extremely thankful for 2004. Our outreach to the
world began to increase in the Fall of 2003. Now our television
ministry has been reaching out to the world every week for one
year. We have just begun the second year.
Think about it. Every week telecasts to all of Europe, Asia, Middle
East, Africa, Islands of the sea and the Orient via the Mid-East
and Far-East Television Networks. Our telecast goes out to North
and South America through the LeSea Television Network founded
by the late Dr. Lester Sumrall. The program is carried here in
the States by some 40 stations and also on Channel 321 of Direct
TV. More stations are being added every month and we are thankful.
Why am I so thankful? Well, one reason is, I have just celebrated
my 80th birthday. Our television outreach began at the beginning
of my 80th year and that is the same time of life that MOSES began
his ministry.
I want to sincerely thank all of you who are standing with me.
Thank you for your prayers in our behalf. Thank you for your giving
financially, we could not do what we are doing without you. Thanks
also for all the birthday cards and special offerings.
I conclude this letter with this insight: 2005 is ALREADY LOOKING
GOOD. Ministry is going to be wonderfully anointed and productive
during this New Year. I am expecting more souls to be won and multitudes
of church dropouts and backsliders to come home. BELIEVE WITH ME!
Here’s a selected passage of scriptures just for you now
and into 2005:
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on
tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone
has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you,
so you also must do. But above all these things put on love,
which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule
in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and
be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the
Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name
of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
(Colossians 3:12-17 NKJV)
